Bragging Corner!

Tis the season for Dog Shows. Cindy and Tango recently competed in Open Obedience and not only earned a leg but also won second place! Congratulations guys!

  1. Skylar and I went to the Dog Show in Orlando Florida on 21 Feb and entered the Pre-Novice class. This was a first show for both of us, we got second place!

  2. I am also training Skylar to help me with retrieving and picking up items for me since I have arthritis. Skylar loves to work for a cookie :)..he is doing great! Brenda thank you so much for suggesting that I also train for assistance with Skylar! He is such a great helper for me!

  6. I have one more leg in open for cherakee and then we are off to utility.Hope Cindy and I can get are legs in IPOC.Keep training guys,dog show is soon.

  8. Cherakee and I are going to Denver next month on united airlines.This will be Cherakees first trip on a airplane as a serive dog he is trained very well.But flighing is not something I can prepare him for.So if any one has any Ideas that might help please send them to me.

  10. Wow! What a great time we had at IPOC on Saturday June 20th! Brenda and Cindy both qualified in Open! Brenda got her Open Title! Skylar got third place in Pre-Novice! We had such a great time!

  11. Skylar passed his TDI test, now has his ID card as a certified therapy dog! We visited the Hematology/Ongology Center in Brandon. Skylar was so good..everyone loved him! Even the doctor on call came to say hello! Got some great pictures with Skylar and the nurses too! Thank you Brenda for molding Skylar into such a great dog!

  12. Cherakee was fantastic on the plane and at the airport,he even help with pulling my wheel chairand layed down in a small space at my feet and did not move for 4 hours.Took the elevator and the train with a little hesitation.I was so proud of what a nice Service dog he has become.

    Sad news. David Eddings who owns Cody (August Top Dog) passed away August 14, 2009 after a long battle with cancer. Funeral will be Friday, August 21, 2009 at Hillsboro Memorial on Brandon Blvd, at 1000 am.

  15. Christine and Skylar got their first leg in Novice Rally on Saturday, 22 Aug! Brenda and Cherakee got their leg in Advanced Rally too! It was a blast!!! MJ was our cheering section! :)

    I hope you remember me. I love in Colorado now. We have so much snow here. I go out to do my job but there was so much snow I peed and pooped on the deck. Now I go in the snow and do my job and I also play and run in the snow now. Brenda is coming to see me in May. I'm so happy, I can't wait until she gets here. Then I will be in Florida in October. I hope to see all of you. I miss all of you.

  19. Cherakee got a leg his first time in utility .I was so proud of him. And he won 2nd place and High Golden Retriever.Second day he got confused and did not go out far enough.That is more training to do .
