Welcome to S.O.S. Dog Talk!

Welcome to SOSDogTalk.blogspot.com! S.O.S. Dog Talk is a forum for all the Saling’s Obedience School folks to get together and discuss our dogs. Do you ever wonder what other’s are doing with their dogs outside of class? Want to discuss training? Allergies? Behavior? What happened at the Vet’s office? Dog Parks? Or anything else on your mind? Discuss it here!

Oh, you can also post Photos of your dog! Share your funny, sweet, cute, and silly memories here!

*Note: This blog is Public. That means that anyone in the world can read it and also leave a comment so always be aware of what information you are putting out there for all to read. This is a Beta version, so to speak, of the Saling's Obedience blog and adjustments will be made along the way as necessary. It can be made private if the students would rather have it private. Also, since it is available to the public, there is a possibility of someone leaving a rude or inappropriate comment or spam. Saling's Obedience School is not responsible for this and will not be liable in any way. Any inappropriate comments or images or links will be removed ASAP.

So that being said, have fun and please let me know of any suggestions you may have! :-)

  1. Excellent new web site. Looks clean and professional like the training. I give it two paws up (I would give it four paws but then I would fall down and look silly).

  2. Hey Keyser! I would have given the new website a 3-paws up, and that still would have left you “a leg to stand on”!! (HA HA)

No, seriously- Lauren- you have done a FANTASTIC job with the new website…I love the way it’s set up (very user friendly) and the slideshows are great. There are some really good pics in there (even back to the “good ole days”!) Lots of very good information and links…so CONGRATS!! GOOD FOR YOU!! (Not that I mean to treat you like a dog…although our dogs get treated pretty darn good!)

I’m wondering if this is Brenda’s way of telling us to quit “yakkin” in class (do it on the blog!) and pay attention in class???

Oh, I took the Word Verification requirement off. If(when) we start getting spam, I'll put it back on.

  9. Brenda-
That's so good! Does that mean I'll get to see him earn a leg at the trial? Hopefully, that will be reciprocal and you can see Speed earn a leg....

  11. I'm trying to transfer Tango's love of retrieving "stuff" with bringing it to me and placing it in my hand...she's doing pretty well...it WILL get better as it begins to click with her what I want- and of course, that's what it's all about- right?? I just have to figure out how to tell her what I want- she is ALWAYS more than willing to do what I ask!

Still working on long sits & downs...
